First Class Cosmetology School - Cosmetology Program
A Cosmetologist is one who studies the art of cosmetics, hair, nail technology, esthetics, and facials. A career in cosmetology is a
sought after career choice for both men and women alike. Our 1800-hour program will provide you with Classroom Theory and
Practical Clinics that meet state requirements for licensure. Our Cosmetology students become proficient in hair-cutting,
hair-coloring, foiling, highlighting, perming, artificial nails, manicuring, pedicuring, and skin care.
The next class for this program begins September 15th, 2008. If you are interested in beginning your career in cosmetology, please begin the application process immediately! Subsequent 2008 classes begin November 24th and January 2009.

Classroom (Theory)
Classroom (theory) consists of lecture, individual study time, and student participation and practice time. Each day will include lunch and sanitation duties. Theory runs for the first 10 weeks of the program Monday - Friday. After the first 10 weeks theory class is on Mondays.
Practical (Clinic)
Practical (clinic) days will consist of working on clients under the supervision of a licensed instructor in the areas you have been trained in. These days will include lunch and sanitation duties. Clinical hours start after the first 10 weeks of theory.
