OWNER
Charlotte Jero
Char has been in the beauty industry since 1987, after graduating from JGM Cosmetology School and earning her Wisconsin license. She discovered a love for teaching early on, sharing her skills at her alma mater.
In 1990, she opened First Class Nails, a nail salon where she could combine her passion for beauty with hands-on business experience.
Seeing a need for well-trained nail techs, she expanded the salon into First Class Cosmetology School, which has since grown to offer programs in cosmetology, nails, esthetics, massage therapy, and barbering. Charlotte does it all, but the heart behind everything she teaches stays the same.
DIRECTOR
Angie McCaslin
Angie has been a part of FCCS since 2002, starting as a full time instructor and becoming our Financial Aid Director in 2011.
​
She's truly the glue of the school, keeps things running smoothly, supporting staff, and helping students succeed along the way. Angie puts her heart into everything she does at the school from behind the scenes to celebrating student success.
With her years of experience and dedication, she helps ensure the school's ongoing growth and accomplishments.
ASSISTANT DIRECTOR
Briana Thomas
Bri has been part of FCCS since 2013. She began as a part time receptionist and became a full-time instructor in 2017 after completing training and earning her license as an educator.

Bri is bold and fierce, guiding her students to pursue careers they are genuinely passionate about while equipping them with the skills, confidence, and mindset to succeed.
SPA PROGRAM COORDINATOR
Monica Krey
Monica joined FCCS in 2016 and became our Lead Instructor for the Aesthetic, Manicuring, and Massage Therapy programs. She’s a true jack-of-all-trades in the industry, holding licenses in all three fields.

Monica works not only with students in the FCCS Spa Programs but also teaches advanced skin care classes for our cosmetology students, giving them the chance to take their skills to the next level.
​
Her classes are upbeat, hands-on, and full of energy, and students love the way she makes learning both fun and challenging. Monica is passionate about what she does, and her excitement and dedication show every single day in the classroom.
LEAD CLINICAL FLOOR INSTRUCTOR
Sarah Jack
Sarah has been teaching since 2021 and joined FCCS in 2023 as our Lead Clinical Floor Instructor. She loves guiding students through those “lightbulb moments” when everything clicks and they realize what they’re capable of. Sarah thrives on seeing students gain confidence as they master new techniques and push their skills to the next level.

What drew her to FCCS is the advanced techniques and curriculum that perfectly align with her approach to education and the beauty industry. She loves the "girlhood" and works to motivate and inspire every student to not just learn, but to grow and succeed.
MANICURING INSTRUCTOR
Maria Abad
Maria completed our Nail Program in 2021 and returned to FCCS as an instructor because she loves helping students grow into skilled, confident professionals.

She teaches with heart, guiding students to reach their potential while making the classroom a place where learning is fun and meaningful. Maria also loves being part of the FCCS family, it’s more than a job, it’s a family that supports her in and out of work.
INSTRUCTOR
Teagan Rodger's
Teagan graduated from our Cosmetology Program in 2023 and came back this past September as an instructor. She brings a lighthearted, cheerful energy to the classroom and is always down for 7 Brew.

Teagan loves blonding, and the opportunity to share her knowledge. She enjoys getting to know each of her students and celebrates all wins (big and small) along the way.
RECEPTIONIST
Mimi El-Khatib
Mimi is a graduate of our Cosmetology Program and is one of the friendly faces who welcomes you at the front desk and over the phone. ​

When she’s not here keeping things running smoothly, Mimi works as an independent stylist, continuing to grow her skills and serve her own clients. Her passion for the beauty industry and her journey as one of our graduates make her a great connection for both guests and students.
RECEPTIONIST
Jenna Barnes
Jenna is also a graduate of our Cosmetology Program and is the other friendly face who welcomes you at the front desk and over the phone. ​
