Our cosmetology course is 1,550- hours of extensive hands-on training, theory lecture and both practical and written testing to provide you with a solid foundation to begin your career. Upon completion, you will receive a Certificate of Completion and an Official Transcript for 1550 hours, which qualifies you for a state licensing exam in WI or IL. As a cosmetologist, you are licensed to work as a hair stylist, barber, manicurist, or esthetician. We want to ensure you have many opportunities to focus your training on your intended career path and offer add-on advanced classes to our cosmetology students in the areas of barbering, skin care, make-up, and nail enhancements.

Classroom (Theory)
Lecture, individual study time, and student participation and practice time. Each day will include lunch and sanitation duties. Theory runs for the first 12 weeks of the program Monday – Friday. After the first 12 weeks, theory classes continue on Mondays. The basic training schedule is as follows:
Monday: 9:00 – 4:00
Tuesday: 9:00 – 4:00
Wednesday: 9:00 – 4:00
Thursday: 9:00 – 4:00
Friday: 9:00 – 4:00
Practical (Clinic)
Working on clients under the supervision of a licensed instructor in the areas you have been trained in. These days will include lunch and sanitation duties. Clinical hours start after the first 12 weeks of theory. Class meets as follows:
Monday: 9:00 – 3:00 (Theory Class)
Tuesday: 9:00 – 5:00
Wednesday: 10:00 – 7:00
Thursday: 9:00 – 5:00
Friday: 9:00 – 5:00
Modified Schedules may be offered to students for work or childcare obligations. Modifications will allow for early releases or late arrivals and will be addressed on an individual basis.
